Gel-X or builder gel, how do I choose?
Gel-x means extensions, so you get length and a shape you choose. Builder gel is an overlay on your natural nails, with no extension at all. Both come with one color or simple art in Somethin’ Simple, at the same price. You will also see gel x written without the hyphen; it is the same thing.
What if something chips or lifts?
If a nail chips, lifts, or breaks within 7 days through normal wear, I fix it for free. Leave it the way it happened and please don’t glue it at home. If you are wearing a set that needs removing before we start, add a $20 soak-off when you book. It adds about an hour and costs the same whether the set is mine or another artist’s.
What does it cost?
Somethin’ Simple is $85–100 with a $20 deposit that comes off the price of your set. Plan on 2.5 to 3.5 hours. One color, a French, or simple art is in scope. If you want art on every nail, that is Showpiece.
The studio is in the LA Arts District; the address goes out with your confirmation.
